where has all the music gone? purely ‘conjecture’.

someone told me the other day that all the great guitar riffs were done and finished by 1989. of course, he’s a bigger oldies retard that i am, but the question still worries me. most music i hear nowadays, sri lankan, hindi as well as western, are rip-offs of older tracks.

and now i find myself getting increasingly bugged that there arent any new melodies being created.

so are we running out of music or musicians?
